These flats are so pretty and easy. There's a little bit of heel to them. They did rub on the first wear but was much better on the second. I liked them so much, I bought another pair (a bright orange in the store and the tan online).

Rated 5 out of 5 by mbears cute casual summer flat
it's a cute pair of shoes. mint is a nice colour. fits like other madewell shoes tts. it seems pretty dainty and delicate. the suede is smooth. biggest concern is how they will stay clean. probably an issue you would have with any other suede in a light colour. good price for quality.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Ashley12 Adorable shoes!
These shoes are so cute, comfy and fit true to size. I bought the mint color in size 5. My only complaint (and it's not really a complaint) is that the shoes are more sea-foam green than mint. I was surprised by how much more green than blue they looked because I saw them in store before purchasing online. Perhaps the dye varies by each pair of shoe? Looking back, I wish I had also purchased the peach ones before they sold out. I would recommend these shoes!

Rated 5 out of 5 Very chic, very comfortable!
Fabulous shoes! The (removable) straps make them more interesting than regular flats. The toe is JUST pointy enough to elongate the foot, and it shows a tiny sliver of toe cleavage (which I personally love).
Unlike a previous reviewer, I don't find these shoes to be narrow at all, and I have average width feet. In fact, I have a hard time buying flats, because many styles are cut so low that my feet "splay out" on the sides. I don't get that dreaded effect with these, so that alone makes me want to get a 2nd pair!
The suede upper and leather lining are soft and flexible, so they're also really comfortable. No need to break them. I'm a 7.5, and these fit perfectly. Highly recommended!

Rated 4 out of 5 by AnikaH The Color and Style Trumps Basic Flats
I absolutely love the color of these. It's a soft mustard that looks so good with so many things. The ankle strap and rounded pointed toe just add so much more style to what would otherwise be basic flats. The suede is super soft and durable. They are pretty cushioned and mostly comfortable...my only qualm would be that after walking around quite a bit, the back started to rub on my ankle a little painfully. I'm not worried about that though. I really do think it's part of the break-in process and will be just fine in no time.

Rated 4 out of 5 by LTT87 Pretty nice
It has a nice footbed, but the sides rub my heel on the first wear. Very cute, but the removable strap is difficult to place back b/c the opening is too small.

Rated 3 out of 5 by hello1234 These shoes are just -ok-
Received the cream shoes in the mail today and I think they are just ok. Since the material is a soft suede, all it takes is one person stepping on your foot and the shoes will be destroyed. They run a little narrow and show toe cleavage. Due to the material, I will be returning them.

Rated 1 out of 5 by dannnimals Unbearably Painful
I'm so surprised to read the positive reviews on this item. I bought them on sale at Madewell a year and a half ago, thinking they would be cute and versatile. They have been unbelievably painful, more so than any other flat I own. It's down to the edges of the flat that rub my foot at the heel and at the top where the flat cuts off at my toes. This isn't just a little rubbing and blisters with breaking in--I have tried everything to break them in. I've tried to make them more pliable by wearing them around the house, trying to soften the edges of the flat by apply pressure, etc. 1.5 years later and I'm still unable to wear them in any situation where I have to walk further than across the room. I think it's down to the inflexible nature of the sole. It doesn't bend with your foot when you walk, and so it puts pressure on the edges of the flat that rub uncomfortably on your feet, creating huge blisters--even when the skin has been covered by bandages.
