I usually wear a size small in Madewell and the size small was perfect - not too big or tight. The inside isn't soft sherpa, but it is clearly meant to be a layering piece. Wearing a turtleneck or collared shirt underneath looks cute with the zip collar. Really love it, and I didn't expect much because of some of the prior reviews!

But the color and style looked so amazing so when I saw it in store I had to try it on. The inside fabric is a bit stiff when you first put in on, but after a few wears it loosens up and now it's perfect. It's my go-to pullover for chilly days. I usually wear an XXS or an XS in Madewell. I bought this in XXS and it fits perfect.

I normally wear a medium in madewell and ordered the.medium. it fits very nice, I can wear a shirt under it no problem. If you want to wear a sweater under it or something heavier...size up! Wish the inside was as soft and fuzzy as the outside, but not a deal breaker. Dressing options are endless totally worth the purchase.

I wish it was soft on the inside, but the Sherpa is only really on the outside. The sleeves are a bit tighter than what I would have expected. It’s still a great pullover though!

This sweater kept me warm and cozy walking the streets of Quebec. I wish the inside material was the same as the outside but wasn't a deal breaker. Has a bit of a boxy fit. Overall, I love this sweater and will be wearing it to keep warm throughout the winter months.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Abill from Heavier than expected I bought this after falling in love with the color! After reading reviews I went up a size and am glad I did! Mostly because the material of this popover is not very flexible. Wish it was a little more supple; almost reminds me of a neoprene type fabric on the inside which makes it rather dense. It is very well made and cute so will be keeping, but will probably wear it more as a jacket than an everyday top.

Maybe it's just me, but I like a pullover/warm jacket to come down to my wrist. Rookie mistake taking the tags off before I tried it on...
