Great casual dress
This is a great casual wear everyday dress. Love the length on my 5"5 frame which hits a few inches above the knee. I sized down to an XS (5"5, 128 lb) as the small did look frumpy. Now it's still a bit of a loose t shirt dress fit without being baggy. Not sure it's worth full price but for how much I'll wear it I went for it. Great for Fall with jean jacket and booties too.

Loose and comfortable
Love this dress. I bought an xxs because I am 5'2" (110lbs). The fit is still loose and comfortable which is perfect for the hot summer months. I shall wear a bralette or bandeau underneath. Can't wait to try it out.

Great item; exactly as pictured
I ordered this because I thought it would be a great basic item for the summer. I was a bit worried about the neckline coming down too low, so I ordered it in a size down from my usual. (Since it's sleeveless, I figured it would fit well since I normally have to pick a size based on my long arms.) I'm usually an XS and got an XXS which was the right choice: it's loose around my stomach and hips without being sloppy, and the arm holes aren't too low. (For reference, my measurements are: 34" bust, 26-27" waist, 36" hips.) It's also a good length on me, a couple of inches above the knees (I'm 5'4"). The color is true to the stock photo without the model; the stripes are not a true white. The v-neck does come down a bit lower than I would prefer but I still think I'll hold onto it and see if I'm confident enough to wear it out without a swimsuit underneath. ;) The linen-cotton blend is comfortable and not scratchy, and I didn't find the fabric to be sheer! Hopes it holds up in the wash!

Fun for the sun
I just moved to Washington, D.C., so I thought this dress would be perfect for the stifling humidity. I am 5'2: Madewell size small is a pretty perfect fit season to season--sometimes I will buy a medium for the bust room.
I like the dress very much, but the fabric stretches out, making it (even more) low cut--almost better for throwing over your bikini in a tropical market with a woven shopper-it also seems pretty short for anyone much taller than I am (I might in hindsight have tried a medium for length, but then the neckline would have been risqué--)
Overall it is cute, very casual dress that regains its shape when laid flat to dry after washing.

Ok for a young body very above the knee for a hot day
not for this old lady awkward shape and too short. Was looking for dress to wear in very hot weather. Had to return it

Shapeless
It looked shapeless on and it did nothing for my figure (which is petite with some curves). In theory it would be a great dress but it wears more like a tent.
