Amazing!
I stumbled upon this in the 5th Ave store and immediately knew I needed it in my life. I love the simplicity and modernity of it. It's the perfect size and length; it's not so large as to be overwhelming, and I always love this brushed gold color Madewell uses. I have no complaints and have worn it multiple times since purchasing this weekend! I will point out that the pendant is not fastened to the chain, so the face may turn upside down or sideways while you're wearing it, but this doesn't bother me. One more note: my friend who hardly wears any jewelry was shopping with me and said she loved the chain, which I would probably never have noticed.

Love the pendant but the chain is clunky
I bought this for the pendant. It's so unique and well made. But the chain is clunky in style. Just too big/heavy and square for the style of the pendant in my opinion--going to replace with a thinner more stream-lined and possibly longer chain.

Huge Let Down
I am a long time lover of Madewell jewelry, including the eye ring which i've stocked up on. But this necklace in person looks so juvenile. It isn't attached to anything so the face flips upside-down and all over, and not only that but the chain choice is surprisingly tacky. Overall, I wish they would remake this but keep the Picasso-esque face style with a much better chain choice. Looks like I bought it at a pop up stands at the mall. Will be returning.
