We updated our slim boyfriend fit with a long rise to wear high on the waist. The result? A cool-girl jean that beautifully blurs the weekend/weekday line. This two-tone tuxedo style was a labor of love for our design team—each pair is sewn, washed and then unstitched to reveal laid-back stripes down the sides.

Great Fit!
After reading the reviews, I ordered a size smaller. A Size 29. I am usually a size 30 or a 31.
I love these pants! They are actually really slimming, due to the darker "stripes" at the sides!

Love these jeans but.....
Definitely size down! I ordered my usual size before there were many reviews and discovered after 20 minutes, they were not just too big, they were HUGE! I love the style and may order two pair, one size and two sizes down, and will give them the 20 minute test.

Great jeans!
I love these jeans but I wish I had paid attention to the reviews. They said they run large and they were right! I would have been skeptical because things NEVER run large on me, but these did. They felt just right when I tried them on, but after washing, drying, and wearing them, they stretched out. If they go on sale again, I might buy the next size down.

Fun boyfriend jeans!
These run one size larger than the high rise jeans with the folded hem although they are made of the same material. They stretched out after 20 mins of wearing them and I had to return for a smaller size.
I love the 11 inch rises, perfect to hold in a mummy belly. The two tone is slimming and adds a fun detail!

Supreme comfort & style
These jeans make me feel like an urban bada$$. They run large; I'm normally a 27 (28 on occasion) and I got these in a 26, and they fit perfectly! Even with the high-rise they're super comfortable. They're also the perfect length for me as a shortie, just under 5'3". I got them last night & I am wearing them today. Thank you Madewell!

SIZE DOWN!
Great fit but they are a bit large. I am usually a 27-28 so I got a 27 and I wish I could exchange for a 26 but they are sold out! I am short with a big butt so they are only big in the waist.. I may have them taken in.... LOVE LOVE LOVE!

These do run large and I ended up sizing down two sizes. I really am very happy with these jeans as they are so very comfortable and cute on. Great fit as long as you size down if you want a slimmer fit.

Wish I would’ve known
Bummed I missed out on these. My only complaint about Madewell is the inconsitency in sizing. I’ll be a 26 in most then 27 or even a 25 in some. I ordered a 26 and ended up being huge. Anyways, the look and feel of the jean is comfy as anything you put on those legs of yours. They will thank you. Fabric isn’t stiff at all and flexes with you. Style/cut is flattering. Again, please —- I want a 25.
