Absolutely PERFECT.
This is exactly what I've ever hoped for in a basic little black dress. It's sturdy and thick enough that I don't feel the 100% need to wear a bra, but have worn one with it anyways. I'm wearing shirts under it, I'm wearing shirts over it, I'm just so in love. The only thing I've not liked so far is that the skirt sticks to me (static) when wearing tights, but that's totally okay, considering how wonderful this dress is. I can't wait to take it into the summer!

Staple black dress
This is my favorite black dress. It's real silk, so that really justifies the price. It doesn't wrinkle too much (kind of a thicker silk which gives in weight). Can be dressed up or down. I ordered a 4 because I have wider hips and didn't want it to pull in that area and this fits perfect. For reference, I'm a size 27 pant & size small top.

Beautiful fabric, not for larger than a B cup
I’ll preface this with I’m not slender, however: this dress was not designed with any kind of chest in mind. I’m a B-cup, and the bust is still just tight enough that it pulls in the center in an unseemly way.
That said, it’s beautifully constructed from soft silk, and worth the purchase if it fits you and your style.
