Love it...runs large for me
I bought this in the store and I am glad I had the opportunity to try it on. I first tried the medium, which would be my usual size in something like this. It was long and giant. I sized down to a small, and it still looks more oversized and slouchy on me than on the model. It's also way longer on me. (5'4) I love the drawstring. Just simple, but great.

Comfortable and cute
I love that this sweatshirt is stiff just like the previous reviewer stated; it completely holds its shape. Also, the beautiful French word and the drawstring are cute little details that add a bit of fun to a regular sweatshirt. I am 5’10”/150/usually a small in Madewell clothes, and this sweatshirt fit no different and, I believe, was true to size.

Love! Love! Love!
Great quality sweatshirt with a modern twist. The fabric is a little more stiff than a regular sweatshirt which I like since it holds it shape while wearing. The drawstring is just adorable. I’d say this runs a size large but I went with my regular size for a relaxed fit and look.

Who knew a sweatshirt could be so chic
Love the construction of this sweatshirt. The cut and material help it to hold its shape without feeling starched or boxy. And it's just overall comfy and warm. I also love the fact that it's a bit longer in the back than in the front, so it covers your bum but without being too long and boxy in the front. The stitched letters are lovely and make it look expensive an the bow detail adds just the right little feminine touch. I get so many compliments when I wear this. Which is often.

Polished but comfy
I've been getting really into these polished sweatshirts this winter... for those cold weekend days where I want to dress comfortably but not sloppy. And this sweatshirt fits the bill! I love the French word on the front and the drawstring as minor details that make it cute enough to go to brunch or run errands in without feeling homeless. I got the XS as I do in most Madewell tops but I could have probably done the XXS. It's not totally oversized but it doesn't look as fitted around the torso on me as it does on the model. I don't mind though - still love this piece!
