Best. Denim. Ever.
The highest waist. It’s a.maz.ing!! Love the wash and wear on them. I’m not one to cuff so I cut the hem to my fave cropped length. Please please continue making 12”+ rises!! We long waisted ladies LOVE them!

Yes, these Selvedge run LARGE, INTENTIONALLY. That way, customers can size down to her desired fit. For very baggy "farmer" fit, get ur regular size. For loose boyfriend fit, go 1-size down. For feminine fashion fit, go 2-sizes down to look Retro-Hot. At 5'8", 135lb, normally Size 27, I kept 25 which were perfection! Fitted in waist/tush....EXACTLY LIKE ON THE MODEL. DENIM HAS EXTREME COMFORT. Structure is old-school, but not thick. Denim is NOT gummy stretchy, and conforms to ur shape. Weave extremely refined, moving with u in a glamorous way. Hand & Fade are 100% authentic. Nothing is forced. No fake creases. No fake feathering. No fake blotching. Wear cuffed with 1 big cuff (shown on model). Or double cuffed (smaller cuffs). Either way, cuffs stay up all day. Jean shrinks after washing (in hips/waist) but stretch to conform to your shape within 45-minutes of wear. Madewell....please continue to design more Rivet & Thread Japanese premium denim. Superior expensive quality!

Cool jeans with character
I fell in love with these wide leg/high rise jeans the moment I saw them, but it took me ordering my regular size 29 to see that these really do run big in the waist. Luckily a size smaller appeared in the sale window and here I sit wearing them :) Although still a bit oversized on me, the comfort and roominess is what I love! The denim is so soft, the patches/distressing great, and they look wonderful cuffed or down with sneakers. If you are not a fan of the skinny jean trend and aren't afraid to try a higher rise, you will love these cool jeans!!

I love these jeans! They are honestly really well made and with neat design features. My only mistake was buying a size up- they're true to size! Love them, going to get them tailored, and then wear them with sneakers and mules!

Loved them so much I bought 3 pairs
The key to the cuff is starch and a hot iron people! Though I do agree these would work better with a slightly stiffer material.....i wore these almost 2 weeks straight during a trip to Japan and I cuff them almost to the knee. The cuff held just fine.

The perfect jean!
Made well does it again with these super comfy but sophisticated jeans. The super high waist is just what I was looking for & the wide leg is perfect with a roll up. These jeans are timeless & look amazing with just about everything -loose fitting sweater or vintage tee. So cute!

Love the look
I really wanted these jeans to work......but it wasn't to be. I would say they run two sizes too large....I have found that all rivet and thread products tun large.... If you can get your size, try them!

I'm a 26 with Madewell but the 24 fits perfectly. Super soft and looks great, might sew the cuff in place at the top. Otherwise lovely!

Retro Fun and Comfy
Normal size is slightly large but the wide leg style is expected to be a bit loose. Also nice wearing full length (no cuff). Good with ankle boots too.
Extremely comfortable all day.
