Cruiser Straight Jeans in Lana Wash

Cruiser Straight Jeans in Lana Wash is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 46.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from great jeans, if you're not sure, size down tried these on in the store because i wasn't sure what size to get. I usually wear a 26 or 27 in Madewell jeans, and in these the 26 was perfect! These jeans are SO comfy and stylish, perfect for anyone who just needs a little break from their skinnies!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Slight stretch, recommend sizing down I own another pair of cruiser denim in a lighter worn in wash, I'm so glad these went on sale as this wash is more work appropriate. Base on reviews I ordered 2 sizes. My normal size 32 and one size down, a 31. These have slightly more stretch and I'm forever suffering from butt gap denim syndrome, so I decided to keep the 31 since they break in as I wear them. For reference, I'm about 5'8" and a size 12/14 in most things. I have the hardest time finding jeans that have a high enough waist that they don't have a gap in the back, but that I can actually fit over my big booty. These jeans work great for curvy girls, and I love them for the spring/summer when it's too warm to wear skinnies that cling to my whole leg.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Flattering and comfortable These jeans are my new favorite. The wash is a perfect middle shade, not too dark and not too light. The higher waist makes it easy to wear cropped sweaters or tops. This is the right style if you want to take a break from skinnies, but you want something more put together than slouchy boyfriend jeans.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfy fit These jeans have a great comfy but not loose fit. I like the high waist and straight leg. They hit me at my ankle but would be perfect if they were 2" longer. I am 5'3" 115 lbs. and I ordered the size 26.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Goto pair of jeans These jeans have a great fit! They help my chubby size 32 butt & legs (5'5" frame) look slim without looking like I am stuffed in! A little stretch that doesn't bag after a long day. Tall boots, ankle boots, flats, sandals - they all work. Thank you Madewell!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Second pair of Cruisers! That said, I do love my first pair better. It was the Roger wash, but different fabrication. It was from the Italian mill rather than the orta mill, which the Lana wash is from. I found that the Lana wash has more stretch and doesn't hold its shape as good as the Roger wash. I seriously wear Roger wash WAY too much that I needed a backup. Unfortunately they don't fit the same. But I'm keeping it because it looks different than my first pair and I still like it. For reference, I'm 5'4'' 117 lbs boyish figure. in size 25.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great modern fit I went down a size as recommended by other reviewers. I'm glad I did. These pants fit great. I love the high waist and the slight bit of stretch. If you size down, you probably won't have any problems with these jeans sagging. I've worn them several times without washing, and they've held up nicely. No saggy bum here!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from nice jeans but run very large I purchased and ending up returning these jeans. I found that they run fairly large. For reference, I am a pretty standard hourglass (5'8", 145, 27"waist and 38"hips). I'm a runner and cyclist, so I have fairly muscular thighs. I purchased size 28Tall. I wore them for a couple of hours at a friend's house and by the end of the night, the knees had completely bagged out, along with the rest of the jeans. The waist was laughably huge and gaping. I am grateful to Madewell's excellent service and I ended up exchanging them for two other pairs. I think these will work for the right person, but size down!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Room For Improvement These jeans run LARGE. I'm normally a 27 in most brands, and a 26 in Madewell. I bought these in a 26 and they're sliding down/gapping at the waist and thigh. I may need to size down to a 24 or 25, something I've never had to do before. That said, the style is very cute. I like the relaxed look and feel, and they look especially good with a little cuff at the bottom.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice surprise! I wasn't sure about these as I've never tried "straight" jeans before but I love them! They're great if you're looking for a more polished alternative to boyjeans. Boyjeans just look sloppy on me, and I'm growing tired of skinny jeans. These are a nice balance. The medium blue wash makes them casual for the weekend and neat enough for work. The rise is very high and the waist is cut skinny but if you get the size right I think they're super flattering. I'm usually a 30 in Madewell jeans (8/10 overall) and sz 30 fits me perfectly (though a tiny bit tight through the middle - hoping they'll stretch.) I'm 5'5 and they hit right above my ankle when cuffed. If you're thinner through the middle/hip area you should definitely size down, as they do have some stretch. For the sale price I think everyone should give these a shot.
