Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this new style! I am writing in reply to the review about stretching. I too bought the style from last year and absolutely loved them. I had no stretching at all and I still wear them. I love this style with the narrow toe and am considering getting them before they are gone!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So comfortable These shoes are amazing. I've walked all over the city, twice, in them with no blisters! And I haven't noticed any stretching of the leather just yet (I find that this happens with just about all huarache shoes that I come across), so that's an added bonus. I would just be wary of wearing them if there's a chance of rain.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Heartbroken Fit: Leather so loose, it's like walking in flip flops. I've been looking for a pair of huaraches like this for....six years? Seven? So when I saw these on sale, I was on it in a flash. And when they arrived, I admired them for their beautiful styling, lovely colors, and soft leather. And then I put them on my feet. TRAGEDY. The beautiful woven leather is so loose that there's about a solid half-inch between the top of my average sized feet. As someone with apparently very normal foot proportions, this has never happened to me before. When I walk in them, the backs flap up and down with my steps. I took them to a cobbler to see if there is anything to be done. He suggested raising the front half of the footbed, which sounds uncomfortable at the least. Final sale, so no returns. I guess I'm going to have to gift these to someone with a foot with a much wider circumference....

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Buyer beware! I bought a version of these shoes last summer and loved them---for all of a day. The second time I wore them, the super soft (super cheap?) leather started stretching and stretching until the shoes were about two sizes larger than they had been in the morning. I literally couldn't walk down the street without them flopping right off my feet. I had to run into a drug store and buy the biggest set of insoles it had to get the shoes to stay, somewhat, on my feet. And still the stretching continued! When I got home, the shoes went straight in the garbage. I don't know if Madewell has changed the material since last summer. If not, consider yourself warned! I have three other pairs of Madewell shoes, which I love. These were a profound disappointment.
