Rivet & Thread High-Rise Boyjeans: Double-Hem Edition

Rivet & Thread High-Rise Boyjeans: Double-Hem Edition is rated 3.5 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great jeans! These fit me exactly like the Rivet & Thread retro straight jeans. They are described as boyjeans, and I would never have ordered them because I would have imagined them to be huge...but they weren't. I tried them in the store, and just like the retro straights, I had to go 2 sizes down from my skinny size. The wash is a nice dark color, no holes, and no stretch. They are rigid, so I hope they soften and break in a little bit. Really great quality button fly and very high waisted. The double frayed hem is different and interesting. Glad I got to try them first!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Rise pulls I love the double hem detail at the bottom of these jeans and the color is great. But walking in them feels really weird. These truly are boy jeans in every sense -- the crotch and rise are long and there's almost no room for any kind of bottom, so as I walked I found the rise and leg was pulling against me in back, making it very hard to take a full stride. I think the crotch is just way too long for where these jeans sit on the waist.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Everything but the hem Soooo close. I love the fit, the wash and the 100% cotton – but the quirky hem detail just doesn't work for me. Sadly, returning.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Run LARGE I wear a 25 in madewell skinny jeans (35" hips 25" waist). I always order two sizes down in boy jeans so they're fitted, but the smallest available in this jean was a 24. I ordered it anyway just to see, but it was huge on me--at least two sizes too large. I'm not so sure about that double hem, but I was able to cuff them and it looked nice. Denim is nice and soft and thick.
