Product Details
A true cool-girl fit, these straight-leg jeans have the look of a just-right vintage find (as in, they look particularly great from behind). Made of moves-with-you denim with an authentic look and a touch of stretch, this pair is perfectly cropped to flash sandals or sneakers (we love it cuffed a single turn).

Cruiser Straight Crop Jeans in Shane Wash

Cruiser Straight Crop Jeans in Shane Wash is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 17.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Winner! I wasn't sure if these would look as good in real life as they do on site, but thought I'd give them a try, as I've been looking for high-waist straight-leg jeans for ages. These fit the bill pretty well, though they're definitely stretchier than I was prepared for (I was expecting a more rigid denim). They also run large - I usually take a size 27 in Madewell denim, but for these, I took the advice of previous reviewers and bought the 26, and pleased I did - even they are almost too big! Took me a while to figure out the best way to wear them, as I'm so used to skinny jeans, but pleased I finally did - they're going into high rotation!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I found my happy place! I tried two other Madewell jean styles (skinny and vintage) knowing what I really wanted was a straight style, but they don't carry these in stores. I ordered online with the help of a sales rep re: size and they are PERFECT! They run slightly large compared to other Madewell styles. I'm a 26-27 depending on how I want them to fit; I ordered the cruisers in a 26 and they are roomy but the 26 in my 9" skinnies are tight. Highly recommend if you are not a skinny jean girl like me ;)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Runs large and long These jeans are adorable, but I suggest sizing down. They also run a bit too long to truly be considered "cropped," but they still look cute cuffed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Still Unsure Really like the idea behind this jean - comfy, vintage and a welcomed break from skinnies. But, I'm not sure I pull it off as well as I'd hoped. With heels, they're polished and hit at the right spot to not simply look like high waters on me. With tennis shoes, I don't look nearly as cool as shown online. I think I just need a 1/2"-1" taken off the hem and it may work. Just not sure it's worth full price yet. But, if you do order, size down 2 sizes. These are huge. I'm 5'8, 145 pounds and take a 28/6 consistently but got a 27. Could do the 26 if I weren't 10 pounds heavier than my norm.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Size down Love their cruiser jeans. I read the reviews and sized down one size but they were still too big so had to size down twice. I usually wear a size 26 but had to size down to a size 24 and I still have a little room since these stretch a kittle. Besides that these jeans are super cute & comfy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from These are cool-girl jeans. They really are! Just the right amount of cropped, unique leg opening, and they make my butt look good - and this is coming from someone who hates her butt. They look so vintage-y on, and I can see them looking good with all the cropped sweaters I own. These jeans are classically rigid though - I wish there was more stretch in them! Would've loved it even more if they held my hips in a little bit like my other Madewell jeans. You will need to size down with these though. I ordered a 24 (my usual size) and had to send them back immediately for a 23.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Umm I have a pair of Cruiser straight in Black from last year. I like the weight of that pair more. The Shane wash is much lighter than the modeled picture here... and they have a button fly, not zipper. Is this the case or did I receive something different? The weight of the jeans is very light and thin, too. I am not sure it will last. And the size: I ordered 24 while my usual size is 26. (120 lbs). They fit nicely but they do stretch around the knee area quite a bit right away. And because the denim weight is too thin, the stretchness show up, like when you wear a pair of summer chino pants. I think I might return them. I wish they carried all their denims in the store so I can try them in before purchasing.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from They look better in the picture... These jeans are serviceable but the small amount of stretch in the fabric cheapens the feel and messes with the shape. There was a weird sag right around the knees that only went away if I pulled them up super high. Like most Madewell jeans they are wide at the waist and so they gap a bit. I probably would have kept them if they weren't stretchy. The other questionable factor is the wash: in the picture it looks cute and worn in, but in person it looks too fake. The whiskering was really overdone, IMHO. I didn't end up keeping them. Also, I had to size down A LOT. I'm usually a 26 and had to get a 24 in these.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from WAY BIG! I've been pining for these for a while, so when I finally received them I was ecstatic. However, they run a full size to a size and a half too big. I ordered them in my normal size in all jeans, which is a 26. But they fit me more like a 28. I'll be going to a store to return them and see if they look right in a 24 or 25. I would just advise to definitely size down at least one full size when ordering.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Cool but WAY too big. Ordered these online in my normal size for both Madewell jeans and elsewhere and they are HUGE. I suspect I would have to go down two sizes for them to fit right. They also don't seem like a straight leg to me... I found them to be tapered at the ankle. Could have been my imagination but instead of exchanging for a smaller size I decided to just return them because I was looking for a TRUE straight leg- which TBH is hard to find! So if you order, size down! Seem like good quality and I love the button fly and wash! Too bad!
