Product Details
A true cool-girl fit, these straight-leg jeans have the look of a just-right vintage find (as in, they look particularly great from behind). Made of moves-with-you denim with an authentic look and a touch of stretch, this pair is perfectly cropped to flash sandals or sneakers (we love it cuffed a single turn).

Cruiser Straight Crop Jeans in Shane Wash

Cruiser Straight Crop Jeans in Shane Wash is rated 3.6 out of 5 by 9.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for older women Yes, this style does run big but for an older woman (70) that's a welcome relief. Order down a size or 2. Jeans that accommodate comfortably both waist and hips and still manage to look great are an unexpected and welcome surprise. I can't believe my butt looks so good. I will no longer wrestle with any other brand.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from These are cool-girl jeans. They really are! Just the right amount of cropped, unique leg opening, and they make my butt look good - and this is coming from someone who hates her butt. They look so vintage-y on, and I can see them looking good with all the cropped sweaters I own. These jeans are classically rigid though - I wish there was more stretch in them! Would've loved it even more if they held my hips in a little bit like my other Madewell jeans. You will need to size down with these though. I ordered a 24 (my usual size) and had to send them back immediately for a 23.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from WAY BIG! I've been pining for these for a while, so when I finally received them I was ecstatic. However, they run a full size to a size and a half too big. I ordered them in my normal size in all jeans, which is a 26. But they fit me more like a 28. I'll be going to a store to return them and see if they look right in a 24 or 25. I would just advise to definitely size down at least one full size when ordering.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Cool but WAY too big. Ordered these online in my normal size for both Madewell jeans and elsewhere and they are HUGE. I suspect I would have to go down two sizes for them to fit right. They also don't seem like a straight leg to me... I found them to be tapered at the ankle. Could have been my imagination but instead of exchanging for a smaller size I decided to just return them because I was looking for a TRUE straight leg- which TBH is hard to find! So if you order, size down! Seem like good quality and I love the button fly and wash! Too bad!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cute but big I had already sized down when I purchased these, but they were still too big. I really like them, so I think I'll exchange them fore an even smaller size.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Size down Love their cruiser jeans. I read the reviews and sized down one size but they were still too big so had to size down twice. I usually wear a size 26 but had to size down to a size 24 and I still have a little room since these stretch a kittle. Besides that these jeans are super cute & comfy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Like the wash I like the color/wash of this jean--it's a nice medium-blue with faded whiskering in the front. The rise is flattering as well, but I wore them for half an hour to see how they'd stretch and I had to keep pulling them up a little bit, but it wasn't to the point of being problematic. Also, it may be a true straight leg, but on me the leg looked slightly tapered, and that may be because of my athletic calves and the way the leg hugged them instead of hanging straight down. I'm 5'7 and the length, unrolled, was fine--about an inch above my ankle. When rolled it started to look more like capri length on me. I may try the tall version to see if the leg would drape straighter if it was longer. It's definitely a flattering cut in front and in back, if you don't mind some stretch.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from They look better in the picture... These jeans are serviceable but the small amount of stretch in the fabric cheapens the feel and messes with the shape. There was a weird sag right around the knees that only went away if I pulled them up super high. Like most Madewell jeans they are wide at the waist and so they gap a bit. I probably would have kept them if they weren't stretchy. The other questionable factor is the wash: in the picture it looks cute and worn in, but in person it looks too fake. The whiskering was really overdone, IMHO. I didn't end up keeping them. Also, I had to size down A LOT. I'm usually a 26 and had to get a 24 in these.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Unflattering fit As others have commented, these run very large. But they do so in a strange way that I don't think can be corrected by ordering a size down. They are made to fit loose. I ordered my usual size -- the size I take in all other Madewell jeans -- and they bag in the crotch and slide down my hips. The trouser legs look less like they are purposely cropped, and more like the jeans just run too short. Very unflattering. These will be my (expensive) gardening trousers.
