Great dress, even better costumer service
Love the dress, super soft comfy denim
5' 6" 120 lb. usually wear a size small, went with xs and love it
Might be a little tight in the arms, but the rest of the fit is great. I'm sure if I had went with my regular size it would be no tightness at all.
Worked with the customer service team after a mistake that was totally my fault, and they were incredible. Super happy in all aspects.

My go-to summer dress
I love this dress. I'm 5'5 and 140lbs and I got a medium. If you want a comfy loose fit then I would stick with your usual size. If you want it to be a bit more fitting, I would size down. I like the super loose feeling of the medium so kept it. I've worn it twice now - both times with a neck scarf and and got lots of compliments.

I love Made Well. Because the clothing is made well. I bought several items at one time and have kept them all. Your fabrics are sturdy (rather than flimsy, as so many other items in other stores) and they wear smoothly (rather than wrinkled, as so many other items in other stores), and they travel through the day into evening without having to change into something fresh.

Effortlessly chic
I am petite (at 5'2", I usually wear a size 2 and XS or S tops), so I was worried that this dress would overwhelm my frame. I was so pleasantly surprised when I tried it on--it definitely has an over-sized fit, but it's so chic and comfortable! It has washed well, and the fabric is a denim blend, so I can get away with wearing it to work with a statement necklace and dressy sandals. If you have had trouble with the pockets sticking out when sizing down in Madewell dresses (I definitely have), then give this dress a try--the pockets do not stick out, so it drapes really beautifully. This is the PERFECT summer dress, and it can easily be dressed up or down.

Wonderful summer piece
This dress is amazing and well worth the price! I have two of the courier shirts and the shirtdress is just as great. The dress wears well without wrinkling, is very breathable, and looks good after machine washing. Definitely recommend! I am 5'3" 120 lbs and the XS fits perfectly and hits just above my knees.

Super comfy, but feels stylish
I ordered down (xs instead of s) as I didn't want it too baggy, and the fit is great. Lovely shirt dress. It will be my jeans equivalent once we see some sun. Great pockets and good fabric.

Simple Casual Chic
This dress is made of a nice washable and dryable fabric that leaves virtually no wrinkles out of the dryer. The Large size fit is great and covers tummy flaws without being too conforming. However, the length is such that a man on the street remarked, "THAT is a short dress!" as I walked past. Yes, it IS. As my 5'9" legs are one of my better attributes, it definitely elongates them with transitional, strappy, block-heeled cognac sandals. I love this courier style from Madewell, and it's the third purchase of the style in different fabrics that I own. Thanks Madewell for producing some casual dresses with sleeves.

So comfortable and got tons of compliments
I work at an advertising agency so work attire is pretty casual - wore this with some wood block heels and a neck scarf and got tons of compliments all day. I'm in between sizes so it was slightly large up top, but fit around my hips well - all good, but if you're a severe pear shape it might be awkward as it's pretty straight up and down. LOVE the pockets.

This material is so nice with the linen mixed in. The fit is perfect. I do not do 'fitted'. I want comfort and style. And since I am no spring chicken I plan on wearing this with leggings. I am 5' 6" and the length is perfect for leggings.The pockets are divine.
I really hope Madewell makes more of these Courier Shirtdresses in this same style with a linen mix material and pockets.
This is definitely my favorite purchase from Madewell .
