Stockton Culotte Pants

Stockton Culotte Pants is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 12.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love these so much I bought two pairs! It is incredibly difficult for me to find flattering pants. I am extremely short (4' 11") and have a small waist, short torso, wide-ish hips, and larger thighs. Impossible. Pants that taper look awful, cling to my calves, and I have to yank them down at the ankle every time I stand up. I pray for the day when the "skinny" pant trend ends. So these.... are wonderful. I wanted an elegant trouser, a dressy one that would also be comfortable, that would flatter my small waist, and camouflage the things I need them to. Because I am so short, they hit the perfect spot as pants, rather than culottes, right to about an inch above the floor (don't laugh!) Short ladies, if you are looking for a flattering, elegant pair of trousers that can be dressed up or down, and are easy-care, with a bit of an edge, these are IT. LOVE THEM!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easily dressed up and down! Versatile and cute! I bought these pants to wear for a new job in a slightly more conservative office. They are delightful: conservative enough to be appropriate, but still stylish and retro and not all staid. For me they are true to size, I bought a size 2 and usually wear a 26 in Madewell jeans. I've worn the pants with cropped blouses and sweaters for work, but also t-shirts and a denim jacket and really loved the look of both. I'm 5'5" with a 31in. inseam and they do fall a little lower on my legs than the model's, as another reviewer noted, but hit at a flattering spot. I've worn them with low-heeled booties, flat gladiator sandals, and loafers and found these surprising versatile. The material feels a bit like silk crepe. It has a nice weight and doesn't wrinkle, but is also swingy and drapey for summer. Highly recommended!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So perfectly versatile! Just picked these up today after debating on if I needed another pair of jeans...it was a tough decision! I went with these because I needed a nice pair of black pants that can go from being casual to dressy with just a quick shoe change.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable, office appropriate, and flattering. In need of new pants for work, I tried these on in my local store for kicks, not expecting much from this style. They went home with me, though, because they're so flattering! I'm 5'5", and these hit me a little lower on the leg, but they look good anyway and are especially waist-whittling. The material is soft and kind of silky, so these will be perfect for work. I feel a bit like Katharine Hepburn in them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great look Amazing fit, really comfortable and so stylish! They look great with birkenstock, pointed ballerinas as well as white Adidas sneakers. My new favorite pants, except for my jeans of course!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Comfy, slightly large/long I am normally at 29 in Madewell, went with the size 8. The 8 fit perfectly in the hips, was a bit wide at the waist, but not too bad. The waist didn't hit quite as high on my as I would've liked - I was expecting a slightly more high-waisted look, and it was more of a standard rise. The pants are also longer on me (I'm 5'6") than they are on the model - they're more lower-calf, almost ankle-length on me than mid-calf, but I can live with that. It's a nice, light fabric - wore these on a warm day and was plenty cool.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Like the style, but wish there were no front pockets I've been looking for a wide leg black ankle length pant and decided to take a chance on these even though they were final sale. The fit is true to size to slightly large, but ideal for the style of pant. I don't think the smaller size would be flattering even if it fit. The poly gives the pant a nice drape. I do wish they were a natural fabric but know they wouldn't fit the same if they were. The length is fine for me at 5"6," slightly above the ankle. The back of the pant has a nice fit with a flattering pocket placement. The front pockets though are problematic. Without opening the seam the pockets seemed to be very visible, but opening the seam only made the pockets gape a bit, and it's not because the area is tight or pulls. I'm hoping the material relaxes or I can steam them to lie properly. Worst case scenario I may try to stitch them closed. A smoother flat front would have worked better for me. These can be worn all year and can be dressed up or down.
