Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works for my small frame This is thinner than many of my other Madewell flannels, but still comfy. I like the look of the zipper, and the green plaid is nice. I didn't have major issues lifting my arms like other reviewers, but this shirt definitely isn't for folks with a lot happening in the bust region. I'm 34A, so it works for me, but in the larger of my 2 sizes (XS). Paired with dark skinny jeans and black Nike blazers recently.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from LIghtweight and different I have this shirt in the Mckinney plaid and really liked the zip front instead of buttons, so I grabbed the Washburn plaid as well. These aren't roomy boyfriend-sized flannels in a tunic length, nor are they a typical winter heavyweight fabric. If you want a more fitted shirt for other than lounging, this is far more versatile. It's made of a lightweight flannel (there is room for a thin cami or fitted tee underneath) that fits close but isn't too tight and looks stylish paired with denim or skirts. It has worked both tucked and untucked for me. For reference, I bought it in XS (5'4, 117) and it has washed and line dried without shrinking.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A little small I normally take a small but had to go with a medium. I love the shirt. It is not super warm but the zipper is a nice change. A go to weekend shirt

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not as thick or soft, runs short This flannel is not as thick or as soft as many that Madewell offered last year (I fell in LOVE with Madewell flannels last year!) or the shrunken ex-boyfriend flannel this year. I've also become accustomed to Madewell shirts being longer, and this one definitely runs short-- it probably looks great untucked with jeans, but I wouldn't plan to wear it with leggings. It's a great shirt for fall and the colors are beautiful. But if you're looking for a soft and cozy flannel for winter, this isn't it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Runs Small! This shirt is so cute! But runs SO small. I'm always a size S at Madewell and I had to exchange it for a Medium. It's still tight around the chest. I'm worried about exchanging it for a Large because then it will look like a tent around my waist. Despite the tight fit, I'm keeping this because I love the style! It's looser on the chest the more you unzip the front zipper, so I can make it work.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Gorgeous shirt for a small bust I tried this shirt on in the store and LOVED it. Unfortunately, unless I were to keep the zipper all the way down (with cami underneath) or not move my arms ever, the shirt is far too tight across the chest. The shirt fit beautifully everywhere else, and the next size up was too big all over. fits you, it'd be a great fall staple. The fabric was a nice lightweight/medium weight, and I liked the small tab at the neck. If it Madewell, please introduce a fit for those of us who aren't an A/B cup!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Order Only If You are Tiny A few years ago, there was a zip-front popover that was grey/orange/cream plaid and more tunic-length that I was hoping this shirt would be like, bc it's my favorite and I wear at least once a week. But I was so excited, I didn't heed the reviews that said this shirt was 1.) not a tunic 2.) small in the bust 3.) generally a weird fit. I just figured I'd order a size up, and it would be fine. Wrong. I'm normally a standard Medium with Madewell tops. I ordered this in Large, and it's still on the cusp of too small. I always wear my sleeves rolled up, so I can't speak to the arm length, but here are a few other things... I'm 5'4" and do not like cropped tops, and this is very close to feeling like one. Also, the shoulders are very narrow. It does seem well made, and the fabric is lovely. Since I got it on sale, I'm having a hard time returning it. I'll probably wear it a few times with my highest waisted jeans, then give it to my much more petite niece once the novelty has worn off.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from weird fit I got an extra large thinking this would be a cute oversize fit. Nope. It's too small in the chest and way too short. Also this is called a flannel yet its not that thick of a shirt at all.. feels more like cotton shirting. When i think flannel I think tick and cozy and I almost want to wear a sweater with this. The zipper was a cute detail but I probably will throw this shirt in the back of my closet and forget about it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from sizing is off This runs small. I am 5'8' 133lbs - sometimes I am a small at Madewell but their sizing tends to run short in the body and sleeves. I ordered a small (to tight) and a medium - still to short in the sleeves and short in the body length but too wide. I don't understand how the sizing can be so off.
