Central Long-Sleeve Shirt in Danville Plaid

Central Long-Sleeve Shirt in Danville Plaid is rated 3.0 out of 5 by 13.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Femenine The central cut is not for everyone, agreed. But this fabric is so soft and lovely that if you can handle it being pretty oversized and rocking a nice half tuck, I would go for it especially at the sale price. I love madewell but don't always like how hard and dark their plaids can be. Having one that steers so clear of the grunge look is refreshing and makes it much more versatile in my opinion. Depending on your height, I wouldn't size down a whole lot for fear of the sleeves getting too short. I ordered my regular XS (I am 5'7"), and it's pretty close.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light and flattering I love relaxed plaid shirts and this one is no exception. The material is light but of good quality so it doesn't feel flimsy at all. I roll the sleeves up. It has material slightly bunched at the shoulders which I actually really like because it's very subtle and adds contour to the shirt. You're curves are emphasized a little more even though it's a loose fit and wear better than just a plain plaid shirt.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cute shirt The shirt is cute. I like the color and texture of it. It actually looks a little bit more pink than it is in the picture.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Better than expected I was nervous to purchase this after reading the reviews but am happy to say I really like this top! The color is so perfect for spring and summer, and is very feminine. It's soft and light weight cotton, and yes, like the other centrals is a wide fit, but buy your typical central/courier size(I typically buy a small, and am between a small/medium in most tops from most stores). It looks awesome tucked in or half tucked into high rise jeans or a skirt, or thrown over another tee left unbuttoned. The color is very flattering to my complexion. I am fine with the pleats at the shoulder as it adds a cute little detail. This may swallow up the petite girls. I am 5'7" and 145, athletic build.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Colors The sizing is really big, but I do love the oversized fit. It's a nice plaid for transitioning to Spring.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Color/Style = Break Even This lovely dusty pink color is SUPER FLATTERING and adds a soft look to this plaid. I'm solidly in the Courier camp of loyal followers though. The gathers on the shoulder of the Central shirts aren't a good detail for me. I overlooked it this time because the pink felt just right for transitioning into Spring. The fabric is drapey and seems a little dressier than my typical boyfriend plaids. This style fits me best in my true size. The body is big but the shoulder seems narrow and tends to fall backwards.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Okay but not perfect Like other reviewers said it runs large...but at a great sale price I took the risk. Totally doable tucking into jeans or shorts. Great transition piece for spring because of the color and lighter weight of the fabric. The fabric is super soft and lovely. The fit is a bit of a miss but workable if you can get creative :)

Rated 2 out of 5 by from So-So Not a flattering fit on me. The darts at the shoulders make my top look heavy and the waste is boxy. Material is decent, pattern and color are pretty. Will be gifting to a friend as it was a final purchase. Wish madewell would change this policy.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointing The photos of the flannel are what sold me. A beautiful blush color and a nice long fit. When it arrived in the mail I was extremely disappointed to find out that this shirt is basically a square. It is as wide as it is long. I ordered a small and it is enormous. It could honestly be a maternity shirt. Also the shoulders have bizarre pleating that I did not care for at all. It has been hanging in my closet unworn. I have been thinking about having it tailored just to salvage it because I didn't return it right away when I should have. It is a beautiful soft and thin fabric though.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from it is oversize I used to wear s in madewell and I choose xs for this one. But it is still oversized. And the shoulder is not the usual design, it makes my shoulder looks so wide that like a man.
