Messenger Shirt in Clipdot is rated 2.9 out of 5 by 12.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from absolutely cute This is shirt is absolutely cute, it gives a comfortable look and has those cute white dots on it. The fabrics is so soft. It is half transparent, so you can wear it alone or with a white cami inside. With a gold necklace the appearance would be perfect. I almost want to wear it everyday.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not my favorite shirt, but ...... I am keeping it. I haven't worn this shirt yet, but I have tried it on... it will be a nice change from the normal white shirt. However, the shirt is very sheer and thin. I really like the textural clipdots, but wish it was not so sheer/thin.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Super cute, drop shoulders I love this shirt, and the dots are so cute, but it runs like a men's shirt... the shoulder edges fall about 3'' down my arms. Cute, and intentional in the design, but isn't apparent in the photos.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Unique Cut I bought this when the sale was on sale thinking it was a great price for a plain white shirt, and didn't bother to read the reviews. Well, it's not a plain white shirt at all. The fabric is nice and light, but it's pretty see-through. If you have a nude bra, you should be okay. More importantly, the cut of the shirt is weird. It's got a kind of exaggerated drop shoulder and the armholes where the sleeves are attached are downright baggy. The sleeves then taper to a slim fit from elbows to wrist. The collar is also quite skinny. It struck me as aiming for a sort of androgynous tomboy kind of look and sort of seems like a men's shirt tailored to fit a woman's body. For the sale price, I really like it (I just got it but have worn it several times already with skinny jeans and high tops), but it's definitely not for everybody. Probably best to try on in a store before purchasing.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Quality, Slightly Boxy I really like this shirt, you will need to wear a tank top underneath as it is pretty transparent. In addition, it is slightly boxy, which I enjoy but may not appeal to others. I think the clipdots are a really adorable touch. I wore this with a Midi skirt and it was very nice.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Cute, but... The shirt is cute, but runs very large. I bought it on sale so I can't return it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Cute shirt, but runs large. I bought this online. The fabric is soft and the little dot details are cute. It's very sheer, which I don't mind. But I decided to return this because the shape of this shirt doesn't fit very well on me. I'm 5'2 tall, and normally wear small in madewell shirts. I ordered in Small, and it runs really big on me. The armhole is really large, maybe it's part of design, but I didn't expect that. The pocket on the chest also seats too low. The back is really long too. If you're looking for loose shirts, you should go for this. But you don't or have small body like me, I'd recommend size down or a different option.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not what I expected I was buying on sale and hadn't seen the shirt in the store, so I was surprised when I really saw it. It was too short infront, too thin, and really didn't do a thing for me. Next time I'll read the description more carefully.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not for me I love Madewell shirt, but this one is a big NO. I'm a true S, I ordered it in a S, and well, the body is huge, but sleeves are really snug and short. The idea of the shirt is good, the execution really bad. I bought it as a final sale so I guess it'll be in my closet forever and ever with the tag on it. Or I might use my sewing machine and turn it into a short sleeved shirt, we'll see.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Drop Sleeve Probs The "slouchy drop sleeves" looked really weird on me. Too bad because all the other bits of the shirt were perfect.
