This top is huge! I sized down to an XS, and there's enough room for two of me in this shirt. (I'm generally a size 6 in shirts) Plus, it's totally sheer, so it's like wearing a see-thru tent.
I'm not sure what to do with this shirt. I foolishly bought it on sale, and it's a final sale, so I can't return it. I could almost wear it as a dress, but it's a little too short. Maybe a beach cover up?
The fact that it's so sheer (...you can see the details of my bra...not just the general outline of a bra, but it's all right there) defeats the purpose of having a lightweight summer blouse.
So if I wear another shirt under this blouse and tuck all the extra fabric into my jeans/skirt, then this blouse MIGHT work. Ugh. Don't be a sucker! Don't buy this blouse on final sale. You'll regret it!

I purchased the same style top in red last year and love that top. When I this one in peach I knew I should add it to my wardrobe.

This is one of my favorite tops that I've ever purchased from Madewell. The color is very pretty (light blue), and even though my skin tone is very light, it doesn't wash me out at all! I love that you can un-button the cuff at the bottom of the sleeves and then roll them up your arms for a super relaxed and casual look. I wear this top partially tucked in with a leather belt, some skinny jeans and booties and it makes for one of my favorite casual/bohemian looks. It is extremely comfortable, and a light/linen material. Of course it runs very big, but that is the look. I ordered a medium (I'm 5'4, 125lbs and normally wear a small in Madewell tops). I could have easily worn an XS in this top and it still would have fit loose and looked nice, but I like the even flowier look that the medium gives me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by MeMe58 Vintage look that pairs well with casual denim to dressy pants or skirt.
Effortless vintage basic black tunic that pairs well with denim jeans or skirt, and also looks chic with capris to dressy slacks and skirts. I washed it in cold water and I drip-dried it on a hanger. Dried realatively fast and no ironing...love it! I am tall and curvy and the medium was long enough and did not shrink. I had already bought the coral and navy stripe because they are so comfortable and effortless. Jewelry and scarves look great with the tunic for an extra flair. I have worn it on occasion with a tank under it. Also, have worn it tucked in and bloused-out, or partially tucked in, or not tucked in with a relaxed and effortless look. Endless possibilities and places to wear this got-to-have vintage tunic! The embroidery is very suttle and adds to the vintage BoHo chic look.

Rated 5 out of 5 by JulianaTx love this casual sexy top
I purchased this top in coral (medium) and black (large) just based on availability, intending to keep no more than one. We'll I'm keeping both. The fabric is so light and airy, not clingy at all. The cut is very square/boxy so, being rather busty I need to tuck in loosely but this results in the very cool, slouchy, sexy look that was intended. The fabric is slightly sheer but not so much you need a tank under. Recommend sizing down for sure.

This top is very cute but runs huge. I typically wear a medium or large.I ordered a medium and it swam on me.I am returning and hoping a small works.

I typically buy a small or medium depending on the cut and style. I read the reviews here before purchasing 2 of these pretty tops and ordered them in extra small. they are still gigantic. this top is cut extremely wide and there is a tremendous amount of fabric. the photos of the model are so pretty but I swear half or more of the fabric must be pinned behind her back. I returned both tops.bummed!

Madewell clothes are often oversized but this was crazy. I already own a shirt in a very similar style that wasn't nearly as large. Even in the smallest size, there were folds of excess fabric...too bad. It could have been nice otherwise.

This shirt was a good idea in theory and not so much in practice. I ordered the small (I'm a size 4) & the top was for sure no less than a size million. Not just a flowy style; excessively oversized. Back it went . . .
