Product Details
With its easy faux-wrap shape, handy pockets and trapunto-stitched sash, this skirt gives you an instantly pulled-together look. It has a cool lived-in feel, thanks to an extra-special noil yarn (often referred to as raw silk) that gives it a nubby, oh-so-touchable texture.

Portside Skirt

Portside Skirt is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 10.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Totally underrated--love! This skirt is so easy to throw on, super chic, and sophisticated. The material is thin and better suited for summer/spring. I love that the cut at the front gives the skirt just a hint of sexy. And pockets are always a plus. I ordered a 2, which was one size too big. I've never ordered skirts from Madewell before and since it was final sale, I didn't want to risk not being able to squeeze into a 0. But even though it's bit loose around my waist, I'm still able to tie the belt tighter to fit, and the skirt doesn't flare awkwardly. For reference, I am a solid size 25 in Madewell denim.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this! Love this skirt!! Perfect for late summer and transition to fall. The fit for me was slightly smaller than usual- but still worth it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Picture doesn't do it justice I saw this skirt online and had to check it out in stores to see if I really loved it. The online picture doesn't do this skirt justice at all! It looks so much better in person, is super comfortable, and easy to style. I wore mine to work with a white tank tucked in and lace up sandals. It was super comfortable to work in all day. The sash is gorgeous and the pockets are practical and useful. I'm typically a 4 in madewell and got a 4 in this skirt. This skirt will definitely be on heavy rotation!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from picture doesn't do it justice This skirt is super effortless, comfortable and versatile. The styling in the pic above doesn't do it justice. It's a great color and it looks more expensive than it is. Love!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not up to Madewell standards I thought this material was not up to Madewell standards, looked and felt cheaper than usual. Also the zipper was stubborn so it seemed poorly made, and it was much higher of a rise than I thought it would be. Returned.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Unexpected love I walked by this skirt in the store at least five times thinking it wouldn't work for me bc the "wrap" cut made it look like it might fit short and I have three kids so ain't nobody got time for too short skirts haha. I finally caved and decided to try it and so glad I did. It's so adorable on and I loved it with my white whisper cotton tee I happen to be wearing at the time. It is a modest length even when sitting down or bending over to pick up my two year old. It's the perfect summer skirt for a casual cute day to summer evening night.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Summer skirt! Agree with all the other reviews, the pics online do NOT do this skirt justice! The color is a much more muted pink and it's perfect! Super easy to style with a tank or a tshirt tucked in and can be dressed up or down. This will be on repeat for me in and out of the office.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Unexpectedly wonderful! This skirt is a sleeper... at first seeems a bit simple, but the details have made it one of my favorite and most complimented pieces. The color (green) is neutral enough to be worn really often, the fabric is thicker and more premium than I expected it to be... it wears beautifully throughout the day. The cut is winderful - nice front cut elongates your legs, and the false wrap detail means you don't have to worry about a strong wind and your modesty. The belt is also a great detail as it keeps the waist fit clean, and it has enough structure to maintain a nice knot. I'm sure I'll wear this skirt through winter with tights and booties.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Functional and chic skirt This skirt is not too short nor long, making it functional for everyday wear yet chic enough with its double flap design. My only gripe is that I wish the color were a lighter olive with a more khaki tint.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great style, questionable fabric I tried on the pink style in store and while I loved the color and style, the fabric was a bit odd to me. I've never seen noil yarn/raw silk before so maybe it has to do with that, but it kinda looked like a pilled blanket? My waistline is 27' so I tried on a 4 but it was too big, a 2 would have probably fit much better (I'm a 26 in Madewell jeans). If a fabric comb could help with the pilled-look I'd definitely get this because I love the way it wraps, the high rise and pockets. I'd love to see the green color come back as well!
