So cute
It does run a bit small across the top of the chest, but for me this is a GREAT thing. I can never find camis/tanks that are cut small enough for me to wear without significant gaping unless I get it altered, so this top is a godsend. Petite girls, don't hesitate, get this top.
It's super adorable/flattering and feels like good quality material. The ruffle makes it easy to get away with not wearing a bra even in cold climes (ya know what I mean? You know.) 5'4", 100lb, 30B (if that matters)

Perfect for transitioning into fall and holidaya
I loved this velvet ruffle cami so much I purchased it in both colors. It fits true to size. I wear a 6 or small/medium in Madewell and purchased the medium. I am 5'10" but with a short torso and long legs. It hit a little below my 9" Madewell jeans and dips a little longer in the back. This cami will be perfect for those warmer fall days, a night out or dressed up for the holidays. Don't wait on this one because it will go quickly as the holidays draw closer!

Multi-season Wear, Priced Right, Runs Small
I got this on sale (final sale) and I definitely think it was worth it for the price. As others have said, consider sizing up. I took a medium in this and some of the other velvet tops from this season, even though I generally am a small (in Madewell's sizing!).
I wasn't sure if I'd love this, but the neckline and weight of the fabric is really flattering and the ruffle isn't too trendy. I know velvet is typically a holiday fabric, but I will definitely pull this out for spring, summer, and fall.

Very cute, very short
I loved this top for the holidays, very festive and on trend. I will flag for all you long torso ladies out there (like me) that the top itself is on the short side - you'll definitely need to pair with high waist jeans. I've been wearing with a turtleneck underneath on colder days - looks great.

Really cute but tight at the chest
So velvet at Madewell I feel is running small in general but this top has two things wrong. First off all camis should have adjustable straps non negotiable!!! Second it's pretty right across the chest digging in and making back fat happen. An easy fix would be to have adjustable straps so it doesn't sit so stiff and high and instead could rest a little softer which would make it drape better showing your figure through the poof of the style. I am 5'7" 135 lbs size 2-4 usually a small but in this I'm reordering for a medium to see if it lays softer and flatters my figure better.

Versatile
Order a size up if you want to layer this cami. I paired it with a white t shirt and it looks fantastic with it! Also looks good under a blazer by itself. I can't wait for the cold weather and wear it under a sweater to dress up a casual look.
