It dresses up a casual outfit and also looks equally nice on a little black dress for work. I have several madewell necklaces and they are all great quality, love them all. Good value too.

I usually go for very classic pieces, and this was my first lariat necklace. I absolutely love it. It pairs well with about half of my closet, and is still in great shape (no tarnish!) after a year. I wish Madewell made this one in silver, too, because I would absolutely buy that in a heartbeat. This is by far my favorite necklace that I own, and I feel like I got a great deal even paying full price.

I've worn it almost daily since, and I continue to get compliments on it everywhere I go. It's super versatile - can be worn high or low, casual or dressy. I'm not big into jewelry and tend to wear just one piece. This is my favourite one, possibly of all time. It's held up perfectly over time - no tarnishing. It looks brand new even a whole year later of near daily use. The quality is amazing as well. Tempted to buy a second one now because I'm prone to losing things!

It's simple but elegant, and adjusting the length comes in handy when I'm wearing different kinds of tops. The only complaint I have is that it's somewhat heavy, but I suppose I'll get used to it.
