Maternity Over-the-Belly Skinny Jeans in Danny Wash

Maternity Over-the-Belly Skinny Jeans in Danny Wash is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 12.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from What I was looking for These are exactly what I was looking for. Super soft and comfortable, full panel (which is the way to go if you're needing 3rd trimester jeans). They are super stretchy but don't look cheap. It's so nice to have a maternity piece that I'll wear ALL the time that looks and feels so good. Runs a little large but I ordered my regular pre-pregnancy size and they're great. (I'm running a little large at the moment, too, I'm not one of those cute "belly only" pregnant ladies!) I'm 5'6" and they are ankle length, great for booties.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from How come I didn't know about these sooner? Found out Madewell made maternity jeans & had to try them for myself. These are amazing & fit great compared to the high end brands I own. Great stretch but maintain shape. I'm in my 3rd trimester & wish I had known about these sooner. Buy them, you will love them. Also like the full panel, very comfortable & supportive. One side note is that there's a slight smell to the fabric. Might just be the way they're washed, but nothing offensive to deter from wearing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cutest Maternity Jeans These jeans are super cute. They're super comfortable and they don't look like maternity jeans at all. The actual material is a very thin "jean-feel" however. Don't expect these to keep you very warm on a cold day midwinter. The full panel belly is super comfortable and stays up by itself very well. The inseam is about 30inches but the width of the legs/hips runs very large. For a loose fit, I'd try 2 sizes smaller than your normal (pre-pregnancy) size and 3 sizes smaller for a look more like the model. Definitely some of the best quality jeans you'll find though!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Purchase! During my last pregnancy, I pretty much lived in poor quality leggings. This time around, I wanted to invest in quality maternity pieces that made me feel like me! These jeans are perfect! They far surpassed my expectations in every way - especially in the comfort department which is critical. Literally, these jeans are slimming, more comfortable than any legging, with plenty of stretch (while making the backside look GOOD). They slip a little bit with walking but I don't think you can escape that with maternity pants of any kind so I don't mind. I think I'm going to get the black distressed maternity jeans next! I took the advice of other reviewers and purchased a size down and I'm glad I did as they are super stretchy. I am 5'9" and 180lbs, currently 6 months postpartum and 15 weeks pregnant. I'm 20 lbs over my pre pregnancy size and wear a pre pregnancy size of 29 in madewell jeans. I bought a 28 in these maternity jeans. They fit well with plenty of room to grow. Thanks madewell!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The only pair of maternity jeans you will need! The only pair of maternity jeans you will need! I am at 30 weeks and 152 lbs. I ordered a size 28. It fits a little loose but not too bad. I can probably go with size 27 (my pre-pregnancy size) but decided to keep the 28 just in case I get more swollen in the next 2 month. They are stretchy and fit more like jeggings. I absolutely in love with my new jeans. I debated for a long time whether or not I should spend almost $150 for a pair of maternity jeans, something that I will only be wearing for the next 2 month or so but this pair worth every penny! Very well made. I would highly recommend this to any expected mothers :)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Almost perfect These are far better than most maternity jeans and definitely worth the cost to get a good fitting jean that'll last you your pregnancy. Only cons: -No front pockets -The over the belly piece is navy, I think black would have made it that much better, could be seen more as an undershirt or cami Still holding on to them with gratitude cus they're the best yet!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from One of the best! I waited to write this review to see how they carried me though my pregnancy. I first purchased them in August and I have 6 weeks to go and they still fit just as well! I'm loyal to Madewell jeans and was thrilled that offered a maternity option. I tried other brands but they just felt so frumpy and looked more like leggings. These do have a little more stretch than I would like, so I have to wash/dry them more often to keep their shape compared to my other Madewell's but otherwise they have been worth it. I would ask for you to consider a maternity boyfriend jean.. I've missed wearing those this year!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from so happy to be back in Madewell jeans Got these when I was 30 weeks pregnant and have been wearing them multiple times a week since. I'm so glad I ordered them despite being only two months out from my due date. A few things that aren't great: They run slightly large, I ordered my most consistent pre-pregnancy Madewell jean size and they are a little baggy in junk and trunk area. I wish I would have sized down but it isn't so bad that I returned to have a new pair sent (because I was having a jeans crisis and couldn't wait that long!). They are pretty long on my short legs. So far I've cuffed them but I'll likely cut them and rock a raw hem. What I'm loving: my reunion with Madewell jeans -- I've been missing them since my first trimester. The color -- so many pregnancy jeans are a weird wash). The full panel is really thin and soft -- I like that it doesn't feel like I'm wearing another shirt under my shirt.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Flattering jeans Finally, flattering maternity jeans! Like other reviews mention, they do run on the larger size. I usually wear a 27 and ordered a 27 and they fit pretty good. I'm sure as I progress into the third trimester, they won't feel as big. The belly band is very stretchy and somewhat thin compared to other jeans I've tried on. I like that the back is lower than the front. The material is more stretchy, which I actually like because they are comfortable. My only gripe is that there are not any front pockets.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from So cute, but... I was super bummed- had to return my first pair because they were comically large, and then after sizing down two sizes (to my pre-first-pregnancy size!) will be returning them again. They fit like they were cut based on a 100% cotton block, not for something with such a large stretch content. The knees are too baggy, like they hadn't been tapered at all, and because there is no waistband there is nothing to anchor them to keep them from falling down. Would be great if there was even a back waistband, or if the hips were slightly tighter. They are super cute though, and the fabric / wash feel elevated and expensive. The inseam is a perfect length.
