Supple denim with a lovely wash
I'm very happy with this piece. I usually wear M but so many reviewers recommended buying up a size if looking to button the vest up. Glad I listened. Great piece for dressing down during casual work days, this vest pulls a summer dress together well.

Wardrobe staple (Runs small)
I decided to try this denim vest at a Madewell store and absolutely fell in love with its simple put together look. It goes well with a t-shirt dress, a simple t-shirt or a nice top with black jeans. It is not only great for Spring/Summer season, but it is also great for Fall to act as a layering piece. I am 5'1" and usually wear XXS for Madewell's outerwear, but the XXS was way too tight and small so I sized up to an XS and it fitted perfectly. I highly recommend sizing up one size than your regular Madewell size.

Vest for all Outfits
Vest was just what I was loolking for. I wear a small, however, the vest was tiny. I had to reorder it in a large. Fun vest that will go with many outfits. Looked at similar vests for twice the price.

Perfect vest
This has been my favorite purchase of the summer. The vest is really nice and adds a different look to any summer outfit. I really like that it has inside pockets where you can carry your phone. The color is really nice and the materials are great.

Exactly what I wanted!
I have trouble finding vests that look good on me. I really wanted this one to work and I am so glad I tried it! After repeatedly reading reviews, I ordered a small and a medium, but am keeping it in medium (my regular Madewell size). The fabric is very nice. It is not smooth and crisp like vintage denim. It's more like really worn moleskin. I love everything about this vest and will be wearing it constantly.

New favorite summer layer
Bought this on a bit of whim when I saw it was on sale, and have worn it half a dozen times already. The cropped style works well for me, as I'm quite short, and the fit was even better than I had expected. It's a great summer layer, and I'm so glad I convinced myself to get it.

Love it!
This is the fourth jean vest I've owned and it's the best. I'm 152cm, 101lbs and got the xxs. Perfect fit.
I'm disappointed to read that a fellow Australian gave this product 2 stars. The colour of mine is exactly as pictured and yes it's a little wrinkled, but that happens in transit. It can be ironed and these vests aren't meant to be 100% smooth anyway.
In Australia it's really hard to get small sizes, especially if you want good styles and cuts, and I'm very thankful that Madewell stocks small clothing and ships to Australia. This is a really good product.

Perfect piece
This jackets turns every ensemble into a outfit. Transforms a boring t-shirt and pants combo into a real put together look.
It felt a little snug under the arms when I first received it, but don't notice it anymore.
High recommend! Its also very flattering if you are peared shape body like me, it brings a balance to outfits, so that you don't look as bottom heavy.

Great take.
I love this take on the denim vest, with the patch pockets (although I'm also a fan of patch pockets). The denim and the quality are great. I have another denim vest from Madewell and—as with that one—I had to size up from my usual XS to a S. Got mine embroidered free at Madewell's event with Lot, Stock and Barrel. Thanks, Madewell!
