Any current teachers or college students age 16 or older with a valid ID can receive this discount in stores and online. Teach for America and Donors Choose associates are also eligible to use this discount with a valid company ID or business card with a photo ID.

To ensure you get that instant verification thrill, please pay attention to how you enter your information on the form so that it will match what is seen on the document(s). For example, enter your first and last name on the form as it appears on your school document(s).

HOW LONG WILL I BE VERIFIED?

Your verified status (viewable in My Account) will be good for one year and your discount will be automatically applied when you are logged into your Insider account. After a year, you need to go through the verification process again to renew your status.

This almost never happens. All academic institutions provide some form of official documentation that we’ll accept. If you cannot provide acceptable proof of current employment, we will be unable to approve you for the offer. But trust us, if you’re teaching in a school, you have a document we can verify.

This almost never happens. All academic institutions provide some form of official documentation that we’ll accept (e.g., class schedule, tuition receipt, transcript). If you cannot provide acceptable proof of current student enrollment, we will be unable to approve you for the offer. But trust us, if you’re in school, you have a document we can verify.
