This shirt is a great mix of tomboy and feminine. I am 5'2 and ordered my usual size. It's long enough to cover my bum or I can tie it at the waist if I wear high rise jeans and don't want to tuck in my shirt. I like having styling options and this shirt offers just that.

Casual and chic!
Only “runs large” because it’s supposed to be slouchy. V cute. I’m petit, 5’4” with a shorter torso. Went to about hip length, but the back is longer and it covered my booty.
I hate my large arms (silly arm workouts make my arms like super large) and it covers them up very nicely.

Great style, baggy fit
Love the color combo and the relaxed feel of the shirt. Have gotten many compliments.
Madewell of course embraces the over sized "boyfriend" look in more than a few of their button down shirt styles. This is one of them. If you're looking for a bit of a less loose fit I would buy a size down.

i wouldn't buy this shirt again just because the shape is really tricky with my body shape but I've worn it a couple times now tucked into some highwaisted skinny jeans. I love the stripes and the fabric. It makes it feel very cool.

I haven't decided if I'm going to exchange this yet. I don't mind the baggy fit but the pleating around the neck and shoulders make my shoulders look slumped. It has the dropped seam on the arm like everything at Madewell but it's al little exaggerated due to the pleating. If you have other tops in this style I'm sure you'll love this shirt but I just don't think it's for me.
