10" High-Rise Skinny Jeans in Carbondale Wash

10" High-Rise Skinny Jeans in Carbondale Wash is rated 3.6 out of 5 by 60.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Black Skinnies! This was my first pair of black skinny jeans! I debated over this one and the 9" high-rise skinny jeans in isko stay black™. After comparing back and forth for quite a bit in the fitting room, I decided to go with this one. Even though the fabric content was the same, for some reason this one was way more soft and stretchy. The 9" pair was more weighty and felt tight around my legs (even though both looked the same on me). For those in the same boat as me, both pairs were pitch black! <3 Overall these hugged my legs down to the legs like jeggings, but with quality weight in the fabric. Both pairs had similar ankle openings. So far, these feel comfy!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from AMAZING & so flattering...but already pilling I'm short and curvy and obsessed with the way these jeans feel and look on me. Butttt, being short and curvy means I know nothing about having a thigh gap and know a lot about the sad reality of my jeans wearing down between my thighs. Unfortunately, these expensive jeans I thought would be my new daily blacks began pilling between my thighs after my first day wearing them. I love them but am rather disappointed by the quality :"(

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice fit, but not as nice as the 10" Hayes wash I have the 10" Hayes wash and they are the PERFECT jean. I was thrilled to see it come out in this deep true black. The rinse on the jean is beautiful, but the fit seems to be different than my other jeans. They are tighter, longer, and the waistband is a tiny bit too tight and needs to be worn in once after washing. My other 10" jeans are perfect even after coming straight out of the dryer. I still love them, but not as much as my Hayes pair. I'm 5'6", 120 lbs, long torso, boyish figure, and ordered a 25 (my normal size).

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Jeans stay black, but pilling is a problem Bought these jeans because I was so fed up with the 9" skinny skinny jeans in black frost ripping multiple times. They look great on, though fabric is somewhat flimsier/thinner and fit (especially in the waistband) is tighter than the 10" jeans in the hayes wash, so be advised. I've washed these once or twice and they seem to stay black and resist fading, which is great, but the inner thighs are pilling pretty severely, probably because it's not a traditional "denim" material. This makes me worry that, like the 9" jeans, these aren't going to last...

Rated 3 out of 5 by from So much potential, but... The fit is great (although a tad tight at the waist compared to other Madewell jeans in same size) but unfortunately the material is just a tad too rough and attracts tons of dust (especially annoying with black pants). I like the fact that the material is thick (again, works nicely with the fit), but it's not as smooth as it should be, probably due to the polyester content (not common in jeans).

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Better in Hayes I have these jeans in the Hayes wash so I was super excited for the black, but they disappointed. They don't feel as high quality and they seem way too stretchy. They also look more like a cotton pant and less like a jean. In Hayes they are amazing, in black they are meh

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Super cute... until they ripped This December and February, I had been gifted two Madewell jeans in two different hues. I loved, loved, loved them. They were super comfortable and really stylish. But, less than six months after receiving them, they both ripped in the thigh! I think it is ridiculous that jeans that cost so much should rip shortly after buying them. I do not think I will be purchasing jeans from Madewell again.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Update---They don't last! I actually don't have this color in the 10' high risers, but because I have reviewed the Hayes wash (the ones I have) I couldn't post an update. So first off, I bought the Hayes wash a little less than a year ago (10 months) and shortly after bought the 10' high risers in the washed black color, which they no longer carry. They fit great and have been my favorite jeans. HOWEVER- after only 6-7 months, I was putting on my washed black pair and the zipper seam in front ripped all the way from the top of the zipper to my mid-thigh! I was shocked and so upset because they were my favorite, and only 6 months old. They were clearly defective. But, once again, after about 10 months of wear my Hayes wash ones have now ripped between my thighs. I understand that this happens eventually, but after less than a year? I am really upset and honestly am not sure I want to invest in Madewell jeans again if they won't even last me a year. Beware.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Like Jeggings I'm surprised Madewell is calling these denim. I've been wearing Madewell products for years and these are a joke for the pricetag. The denim is so thin they feel like jeggings not jeans! That said, the fit is still great...I just would like to feel like they last for longer than two months. Sending them back and pretty bummed about it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Ugh -- Stretched in the weirdest way! I'm SO disappointed! I was thrilled to find really black high rise jeans. I wore them for the first time TODAY. And about 7 hours later they have stretched and the crotch has fallen down. I haven't been sitting most of the day I've been walking around. These jeans fit in my hips but after a good part of the day the tummy part just opened up and they have been sliding down. I put on a belt and they are still sliding down. Maybe they too short and I should have ordered long. I don't think I would have fit in a smaller size -- they likely would rip as other people have complained about. For reference, I'm about 5'7, 125 lbs and I have hips and am in good shape and I purchased 28, which is the size I wear in the majority of my other jeans. I wish I could return or exchange them or something. How frustrating.
