WHO IS ELIGIBLE FOR THE MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL DISCOUNT PROGRAM?
This offer is available to U.S.-based medical professionals who are currently licensed. The offer may be restricted to specific branches of the medical profession; eligible branches are shown in the Status selector on the main verification form. The licensing can be from any state and must not be expired. You do not need to be currently employed in a medical capacity.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE FOR THE FIRST RESPONDER DISCOUNT PROGRAM?
This offer is available to all U.S. first responders and emergency personnel—including law enforcement, EMTs, paramedics and firefighters.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE FOR THE U.S. MILITARY DISCOUNT PROGRAM?
This offer is available to military personnel who have served or are currently serving in the United States Armed Forces and their qualified dependents.
HOW DO I RECEIVE MY DISCOUNT ONLINE?
Online usage of the Medical Professional, First Responder and Military discount is subject to different requirements. Please see the “Who can get verified” section in the Online Verification FAQs for details.
CAN I USE THIS DISCOUNT WITH OTHER PROMOTIONS?
This discount cannot be combined with select promotions. If there is another promotion on the site or in store, the deeper discount will be applied.
WHAT PRODUCTS ARE EXCLUDED FROM THE MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL, FIRST RESPONDER AND MILITARY DISCOUNT?
This discount may NOT be applied to previous purchases or the purchase of gift cards, third-party branded merchandise or Marketplace merchandise.

WHO CAN GET VERIFIED?
Medical professionals, first responders and military personnel (and their dependents, age 16 and older) can verify their identity on our site to receive the discount.
HOW DO I GET VERIFIED?
If not instantly verified, SheerID will compare the information provided in the uploaded document(s) against the information entered in the verification form. To ensure you get that instant verification thrill, please pay attention to how you enter your information on the form so that it will match what is seen on the document(s). For example, enter your first and last name on the form as it appears on your official document(s).
If your last name has changed since your military document was issued, along with your military document please also upload a government-issued document that shows your current last name.
HOW LONG WILL I BE VERIFIED?
Your verified status (viewable in My Account) will be good for one year and your discount will be automatically applied when you are logged into your Insider account. After a year, you need to go through the verification process again to renew your status.
WHO IS SHEERID?

SheerID will collect some basic personal information to confirm your eligibility for the offer. We may also ask you to upload some documentation that substantiates your status and eligiblity.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I CAN’T PROVE I’M A MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL, FIRST RESPONDER OR MILITARY?
This almost never happens. All jurisdictions are going to give you some kind of official document that we’ll accept, but in the event you cannot provide us any acceptable proof of validation, we will be unable to approve you for the offer. But to repeat, if you’re currently licensed as a medical professional, currently employed as first responder or have served or are currently serving in the United States Armed Forces, you should have access to a document we can verify.
MY MILITARY STATUS (OR BRANCH) IS NOT AN OPTION. WHAT DO I SELECT?
If your military status (or branch) is not listed as an option to select on the verification form, then you are not eligible for the offer.
MY MILITARY SPONSOR IS DECEASED. AM I ELIGIBLE?
If 1) you are currently a registered dependent, and 2) you have the options “Military Family Member,” “Spouse,” and/or “Dependent” available for selection under “Military Status,” then you are eligible for the offer. If those options are not available, you will need to contact Madewell to ask if you’re eligible and how best to proceed.
