Rated 5 out of 5 by Swilliams Great but thin
I love this scarf and it is great for San Francisco, but it is not a very thick or substantial scarf. It is a lot thinner then I thought it would be. Not a traditional plaid scarf but great colors and print.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jackie2527 Cozy and warm without being overly bulky.
I love the texture. It's warm, and I thought it might be scratchy (I have sensitive skin) but it's amazing. I'm obsessed.

Its a beautiful scarf. Due to the weave and the built in holes or deconstructed look it is very easy to snag on things (purses, jacket zippers etc...).
Beautiful but slightly fragile / delicate.
I would still recommend it to anyone who can keep babies from tugging on it and snagging necklaces on it....etc..

Place an order for this scarf ASAP or run to your local Madewell store! Best scarf I've ever purchased thus far. It dresses up a plain casual outfit into an outfit that looks effortlessly put together. The plaid is such a cute combination. I was at first dissuaded by the material because I thought it would be too itchy for my sensitive skin but not the case! Can't wait to wear the heck out of this scarf during this fall and winter!!! Thanks Madewell for an amaaazing scarf.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Violet Perfect Scarf for Fall & Winter
I've been looking for a scarf to accent fall & winter outfits. This scarf adds a pop of color and pattern that brings neutral colors to life. It could also be easily mixed with stripes, dots & other plaids.
The material is light & airy, but wrapped a bit snugger feels like it will keep you warm when the weather gets colder. I can see myself wearing this to go to a cider mill, work or while make a snowman.

Rated 4 out of 5 by sfbayshopper Colors are beautiful
So a few pros: it is very pretty and warm and versatile. Now the cons aren't so bad but it did surprise me a bit....1- you really couldn't tell the open weave in the picture. But basically there are holes (as a design) that are about 1 inch squares throughout the scarf. I worry that it will rip or get caught on something. I wish it were solid throughout. I think the picture online should show that more so that you know what to expect. 2- it's not very long. I think it said 70 inches somewhere and it is not. I can't really wrap it so I use it handkerchief style. or you can wrap around your neck but you won't have any extra loose material. I am keeping it. I just think
a better picture would set the right expectation.

Rated 4 out of 5 by CTshopper Open weave is really open - big holes all throughout
I love the feel of this scarf and the colors are nice although the background color is a touch more camel than off-white. My only issue is that the "open weave" doesn't just mean loose weaving, which it has, but also regularly spaced holes about 1.5" square all throughout. It doesn't show up much when you wrap it but it overall looks more disheveled than I wanted. To the person who thought the length was wrong, it is just very thin and was folded in half. A disappointment because it is airy, very soft, and warm - I was hoping to wear it all the time. I haven't decided if I will return it or not, mainly because it is so, so soft.
